Friday Night Funkin has quickly become a fan-favourite rhythm game, and a large part of this popularity can be attributed to the fact that the game’s open-source game code allowing every user of the game to develop their own assets, resources, and cutscenes for unique new mods. All of these mods would be compliant with the easily recognizable art style and look of Friday Night Funkin, thus amplifying the attraction of longtime gamers to the game, since it could be reminding them of the good ol’ days of gaming at home with their childhood friends.
Hex is an original character that was developed by the well-known modder YinYang48 and was first created when a lonely Rich Guy wanted to create a companion for himself. Hex has a monitor for a head which usually displays two eyes and a smiling face in cyan colours. This look has been modified a few times as his story progressed, and he was a Glitcher infected with a virus.
It is this character’s skin that has been modified with different colours to give him a fresh new look in the Hex Reanimated Mod for Friday Night Funkin. The skin was created by SugarRatio in full collaboration with the original creator of Hex, YinYang48. In fact, the creator of the skin considers this to be a sort of fanart made as a tribute to the character as opposed to an attempt to somehow better the original work of the creator.

Once the download is complete, as with any other mod, simply paste the files into your game’s folder and make sure to replace any duplicate files that may come up.
The creator of this mod is NLD, with credits also going to PuppyRelp for his artwork. Original voice acting was performed by the likes of Not so Graceful Penny, ReshyNam, and PapTrisha.
