Xenoblade Chronicles 3: How to do Burst Combo
This action-cum-adventure packed game features various innovative fighting strategies which make the game unique. One of those specialties includes the use of different combos to attack the opponents thus reducing their chances of winning. There are a few combos available in the game which you can perform. Here we will discuss about the Burst Combo.
The burst combo requires the execution of Art Combo (by chaining arts). The art combo needs to be completed within a time limit else the Burst combo will be of no use.
Break -> Break is the initial step of the burst combo. Break refers to weakening the defense shields of your opponents thus making them vulnerable to further attacks. A temporary timer will appear for a short period of time which will indicate the countdown for Break to end. After repeated practice and after gaining some skills, you can improve to such a level where you can cancel opponents’ attacks if the burst attack is executed properly. As the game starts, it is available to Noah.
Topple -> The next step in the Burst combo is the Topple. As the name suggests, it makes the enemy immobile for a while and makes the enemy fall on the ground at the same time, and the mobility of the victim of the attack stays frozen for a while. The Topple attack is indicated by a countdown timer which is visible on the screen till the countdown gets over thus marking the end of the toggle attack. Your allies also get time to heal and to improve HP since your enemy becomes immobile for a while till the Topple stays in effect.
Daze -> The next step includes daze as the final attack of the combo. It makes the enemies immobile for a longer duration than the Topple and also ensures that the enemies won’t retaliate as soon as your attack gets over. Daze is available from the beginning via Eunie and her ‘myopic screen’ art. Once Daze comes into effect, the Topple icon is replaced by the Daze icon and it shows a countdown till the timer expires.
