Currently, Palia has close to a hundred fish available in the game, and catching all those will be a gargantuan task. However, with the right guide, you will be able to catch one with ease. Luckily, this guide will specifically aid you in finding and catching the beautiful Fairy Carp in Palia. So, if you are looking for this fish, consider reading until the end.
Palia Fairy Carp: How to get, find, & catch
A shy fish with a hypnotically translucent sheen. Found in ponds using worms in the mornings and evenings. – In-game Description.
Among the many fish available in the game, the Fairy Carp is certainly one of the most gorgeous ones. If you didn’t already know, it is a rare fish. Now, it may be a rare catch, but it certainly isn’t an impossible one. As the description hints, the Fairy Carp can only be caught during the morning and evening hours. So, better be prepared with everything. One good thing about this fish is that, despite its rarity, it isn’t attracted to Glow Worm bait. Believe it or not, this is a massive boon for players, as Glow Worms themselves are uncommon and hence hard to get.
Location?
Now, when it comes to the best fishing spot to get this fish, it can be caught in Kilima Village and, of course, everyone’s favorite, the Bahari Bay region of the Palian Overworld. Places like Mirror Pond Ruins, the small pond near Leafhopper Hills in Kilima Valley, and the pond near Hodari and Najuma’s house in Bahari Bay are most player’s go-to locations for catching the Fairy Carp.
Bait?
And, as mentioned earlier, since this fish doesn’t require any glow worms, you will need normal worms as bait to catch it. Therefore, you can either farm them or buy them directly from Zeki’s General Store. Once you have enough, you can simply cast your line with the bait equipped and wait.
As always, you can either use them in various recipes or sell them for a profit. The base variant will land you 145 Gold while the quality one will net you 219 Gold in total. If you want to focus on fishing as your main source of income, then set your sights on catching the Fairy Carp along with the Mutated Angler, and Void Ray. These will earn you quite a handsome amount of money when selling, especially the Void Ray.
