In today’s article, we’ll be looking at game adaptation prospects of the popular manga series, Noragami. Here’s what we know about the new Noragami game:
Noragami
We follow a shrineless god, Yato, and 2 others through their journey of various shenanigans. The story begins with Hiyori Iki, a middle school student that meets an unfortunate accident. The accident causes her soul to enter and leave. Due to this, she discovers the existence of 2 parallel universes, one where regular humans live, the other where demons live.
She eventually meets Yato, a shrineless god, on a journey to redeem himself. To gain favor and popularity, he agrees to accept wishes for 5 yen, including Hiyori’s wish to fix her body. Accompanied by another god, Yukine, the trio embarks on a journey through adventures, highlighting their pasts and consequent character development. Released in 2015, the series and manga ended in 2015 too. No announcements have been made regarding any new seasons.
New Noragami game
Noragami has been blessed with a rather interesting storyline, which makes for a great role-playing game potential. Noragami has seen the releases of games on the mobile platform. Most notably, a game titled Noragami ~Kami to Enishi~ was released in November 2015.
Another game, called Noragami Aragoto, is under development and available for pre-registration as of now. Developed by the Chinese developers, snail games, the release date of the game is fairly uncertain as of now. The game will be available on the mobile platform.
