Bodycam Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go & Asus Rog Ally Support Details

A year ago, when news of “Bodycam” first came out along with its trailer, it made waves within the gaming community. The USP of the game was the level of realism showcased in the gameplay, which left players in awe, with scenes resembling authentic body cam footage of undercover operatives. Now, as the game gears up for its early access launch, handheld device owners are left wondering whether they can experience the adrenaline-fueled action on their portable handheld PCs. Well, in this article, we look into the details of Bodycam’s compatibility with handheld devices such as the Steam Deck, Lenovo Legion Go, and Asus Rog Ally!

With playtests having occurred previously, the hype surrounding “Bodycam” has only intensified as the early access launch date of June 7 approaches. Now, when you look at the overall graphics of the game and the system requirements, it looks like a title that may be too much for the handhelds to handle. Despite this, many players like yourself are hoping for compatibility of the game with handheld devices. After all, there are not many popular multiplayer FPS with this level of realism to dive into on these devices. Therefore, many want to know if “Bodycam” will indeed be playable on popular handheld platforms. Well, just keep reading this article till the end to know it all.

Steam Deck

For the Steam Deck, it’s important to note that “Bodycam” isn’t Deck Verified nor labeled as playable, as of writing this article. Additionally, there haven’t been any hints from the developers regarding the game’s compatibility with the Steam Deck. Even with tweaks, it doesn’t seem likely that the game will run smoothly on the Deck. Firstly, “Bodycam” boasts intense graphics with ray tracing and photorealistic elements, which could be too demanding for the Steam Deck’s hardware. Moreover, being a massively multiplayer game, the anti-cheat system may pose challenges on the Steam Deck’s Linux-based operating system. Finally, the absence of gameplay videos and reports from players on Steam Deck during the playtest suggests that the game isn’t playable on the Deck. But do note that the information provided here is based on facts and what is available as of now. Once the game’s early access version is released, we will make sure to update this article with more information regarding its Steam Deck compatibility.

Asus Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go

Just like with the Steam Deck, “Bodycam” isn’t set up to work on devices such as the Asus Rog Ally and Lenovo Legion Go. However, there’s a bit of hope here. These gadgets are more like mini PCs, meaning they run on the Windows OS and are pretty much capable in terms of performance. So, even though the game isn’t officially supported for these devices, we think the game might run on them. But right now, it’s all speculation. Since the game isn’t out yet, nobody has tried it on these gadgets or shared any experiences. We’ll have to wait until the game launches to see if people can actually play it on the Rog Ally or Legion Go. Until then, it seems like “Bodycam” isn’t designed to work on either of these devices.

With that, we have reached the end of this article. We hope this was helpful. Now, before you leave, don’t forget to bookmark Digistatement for more guides and news like this on all things gaming! Read more: Ark Survival Ascended Shastasaurus Spawn Command
