Bodycam VR Mode Support

There are very few players who wouldn’t love an all immersive ultra-realistic first-person shooting game. Is there an abundance of such titles? Yes! Are we going to go all crazy for yet another FPP-shooter game? Obviously, yes! For those fans who just love getting into the action with shooter games, Bodycam is going to be one hell of a treat. Developed and published by Reissad Studios, Bodycam is the ultra-realistic, multiplayer, first-person shooter game scheduled for a June 7, 2024, release as an early access title. With all this action around, the obvious question to ponder is if the developers have added the much-anticipated VR mode to Bodycam or if there are any updates on whether there is a chance of implementing VR in the game. If you find yourself to be one of the VR enthusiasts, then this article is for you. Keep reading to find out more.

VR is truly something to behold if you’ve got a VR set for yourself. If you own one, you’d agree that it alleviates the gameplay experience by quite a significant margin. You don’t just play a game; you become a part of the gaming world. And if you get a VR mode on the first ultra-realistic, multiplayer, first-person shooting experience, then that really would be spectacular. This brings us to the question: is there a VR mode in Bodycam? Here’s what we know about it.

Bodycam VR Mode Support: Is it Available?

Bodycam VR Mode Support

Reissad Studios has given us the date when Bodycam will hit the market, and it’s just around the corner. Yes, the release date of the Early Access version of Bodycam is June 7th, and fans want to know if they will have access to a VR mode when the game comes out. The speculation is justified. The developers successfully created a lot of hype around Bodycam and all of it surrounds the graphics of the game. They claim that it’s the first ultra-realistic first-person shooting game. This indicates that a VR experience would be really wholesome for Bodycam players. So will the game support a VR mode?

Well, after taking a look at the official website of Reissad Studios, unfortunately, a VR mode isn’t available in Bodycam. Yes, as shocking as it is, Reissad Studios hasn’t included VR support in this title. What did they have to say about it? They simply declared that VR mode isn’t part of their plans as of now. This actually makes it quite hard to predict if they’ll include a VR mode in Bodycam going forward. We’ve often noticed this trend when developers left out one particular feature at the time of release but went on to add it later via updates. Will Bodycam enjoy a similar fate? Maybe, or maybe not.

Reissad Studios declaring that it’s not part of their plans makes the entire situation a little tricky. It’s very much possible that the VR mode won’t even be included in the future, but we can’t really say for sure. Everything is merely speculation at this point, so it’s better to take any information related to VR with a pinch of salt. Maybe if the demand grows, then they’ll consider adding this feature for the fans? We’ll have to wait and find out. However, considering that the game is based on Unreal Engine, you can try the UEVR injector mod, which can run most games in VR. Here’s a guide on the same. There’s even a gameplay video shared by Gamertag VR on YouTube featuring the playtest version of the game running in VR mode using UEVR.

Well, that’s all from us on whether a VR mode is supported in Bodycam. If there’s an update on the situation, then we’ll surely notify you about it. But until then, stay tuned to DigiStatement for more gaming content!
