Starfield Spacesuits Disappearing in Ship’s Armory Issue: Is there any fix yet

Starfield Spacesuits Disappearing in Ship's Armory Issue Is there any fix yet

From the character’s head, and quest markers to home ships, all are affected by the disappearing bug in Starfield. While these bugs are not game-breaking (except for some) by any means, they are annoying without a doubt. Adding to the list of bugs is this spacesuit disappearing bug that many have reported encountering in the game. Now, if you too are losing your spacesuits from the ship’s armory, this is just the article for you.

In Starfield, there’s a recurring issue where items placed on mannequins within the ship’s armory module can disappear when certain changes are made to the ship via the editing/building menu. This can result in the loss of valuable and potentially unique armor sets, such as spacesuits. The bug appears to be linked to ship interior resets. When changes are applied to the ship, the game’s system may unintentionally move stored items, including those on mannequins, to the ship’s cargo hold. However, in some cases, these items may not be visible in the cargo hold or the player’s personal inventory. With that being said, is there any fix for this issue yet? Let’s find out.

In Starfield, it’s no secret that there are some pesky bugs buzzing around. It’s frustrating, right? But here’s the scoop: as of writing this article, there’s no magic wand to wave and make these bugs disappear. So, where does that leave us? Well, there is one way to get your stuff back, but it is just a temporary solution. Other than that, there are some things you need to be mindful of to prevent losing your items again.

Load a Previous Save (Retrieving the Spacesuit)

If you have a recent save before the ship changes were made, loading that save can help recover the lost items. It essentially rolls back your progress to a point where the items are still in place. Of course, this would mean that you would have to replay certain sections. But if the items you lost were of utmost importance, then the only option you have is to reload a previous save. For now, this is the only way to get your spacesuit back.

Check the ship’s cargo hold

If your spacesuits are missing, check the ship’s cargo hold once again to be sure. Also, if you sell your ship, its items should be transferred into your inventory, so you can give this method a try as well.

Prevention measures

To prevent this bug from affecting your stored items, it’s recommended not to use the ship’s armory mannequins for your spacesuits until a patch is released to address this issue. Also, refrain from decorating or placing valuable items within your ship. If you want to avoid the risk of losing items, you may want to consider using other storage containers for storing your valuable items until a patch is released to fix this bug.

Wait for a Patch

Since this is a known bug, game developers might release a patch/update to address it. However, since the developers have not shared any official information on the same, take this information with a pinch of salt. Anyway, keep an eye out for the latest updates for Starfield.
