Rumbleverse: How to mute players?

Rumbleverse is a 40-player brawler. It is a battle royale with an emphasis on melee combat. In order to beat other players in this game, you will need to master blocking, dodging, and throwing among other mechanics. Rumbleverse is a diverse and eclectic platform. It does not meet any conventional battle royale standards nor does it figure as a fighting game. Rumbleverse is a unique game with elements from both genres. It is also a multiplayer game meaning you will likely have teammates. The issue with teammates is that they are sometimes more annoying than helpful. Some of these times include when they choose to shout in voice chat and make it harder for your to hear enemies. In this article, we are going to go about learning how to mute them in-game.

Rumbleverse: How to mute players?

Voice chat is an essential element of most team-based games. Rumbleverse, being multiplayer, has this mechanic and has situations where they are of good use. You can revive and redeploy downed teammates in this game. This is easier said than done, however. Teammates are useful in this scenario when they give good calls and let you know where the enemy is. In some extraordinary cases, however, they choose instead to be toxic or scream into the mic. It is at times like these that you wish you could mute them.

Rumbleverse: How to mute players?

There are two methods to disable voice chat in-game. For one of these methods, you will have to be in a party with your teammate. The other method will work irrespective of the party status or if you are in-game or not. Listed below in this article, you will find instructions on how to mute teammates using both methods.

Party Voice Chat;

  1. Highlight the player in the party.
  2. Click on the Options button to open up a small list.
  3. Here, select the Mute option.

With this, you have muted the other player in your party. This can be done when you are in the main menu and in a party with the other person.

Voice Chat;

This option will mute the entire voice chat feature. It will disable comms and will not allow you to hear your teammates, regardless if they are in your party. For this,

  1. Open the Social menu.
  2. Look for Settings.
  3. Navigate to Voice Chat.
  4. Toggle this option to Disable.

You have now muted voice chat entirely in the game. If you want to hear your teammates in-game, you will have to undo this action and toggle voice chat to On.
