Originally released on September 20, 2020, for PC, Phasmophobia has since gone on to become one of the best indie games to come out in recent years. Developed by British indie studio Kinetic Games, it’s a paranormal investigation title where players, along with their teammates, go out and investigate different hauntings while also trying to survive ghost hunts at the same time. A unique idea to say nonetheless. Right now, the game is under Steam’s Early Access program, available only on PC. However, the game will receive its console ports in August 2023, along with a major Progression 2.0 update. All in all, Phasmophobia fans are in for a treat this year. Phasmophobia Perfect Investigation: What is it & how to get
A perfect investigation in Phasmophobia refers to the players completing specific tasks during the investigation. After an investigation ends, the game will calculate rewards based on the tasks that you have completed. Perfect Investigation is one of those tasks. It’s important to note that in Phasmophobia, a Perfect Investigation and Perfect Game are totally different. In order to get a perfect investigation, players will need to satisfy the following –
- Pick up the bone
- Identify the ghost
- Fill the journal with three-star photos
- Complete all objectives
Finding the bone can be quite tricky since it’s usually placed somewhere random on the map. But when you do see it, don’t just go ahead and pick it up. Before you do so, take a photo of it. A distance of 1.5 meters or so would be perfect. Now, after taking a picture of the bone, you can proceed and get it. Picking it up is important, as it counts towards a perfect investigation.
Identifying the ghost is important for a perfect investigation and completing the hunt. And you should take a picture of it like you did with the bone. Do your best to get all the correct evidence, since it will help you identify the ghost.
Another thing you should always do to get a perfect investigation is to take three-star photos. Do note that there need to be ten three-star photos. Otherwise, you will not receive a perfect investigation. Take a picture of the ghost, bone, and the rest with cursed possessions, and things like dirty water, fingerprints, footprints, and such.
