2) Verify Game Files

3) Launch the game using the .exe file
To launch NFS Unbound using its .exe file, you must head to the game installation folder [Steam > NFS Unbound (Right-click) > Manage > Browse Local Files]. Here, you can find the NFS Unbound .exe file. You can also try running the file with admin privileges.
4) Update Windows

5) Run the game on Dedicated Graphics Card

Now, head to the game installation folder through this path: C Drive > Users > Program Files (x86) > Steam > steamapps > common > NFS Unbound). Select the .exe file of the game and then add it. Now, click on the Options button and select High Performance. This will make sure that the game is running on your dedicated GPU.
6) Install Visual C++ files
You must install, update or repair Visual C++ files to resolve this issue. For that, visit the official Visual C++ website.
7) Delete the PcDx12 file in the game cache
To do this, simply head to this directory- My Documents\Need For Speed(TM) Unbound\cache. Now, all you have to do is delete the PcDx12 file. According to various players, deleting this file every time before launching the game helps, so you try this method.
