Monster Hunter Rise: How to change language?

Monster Hunter Rise is an action RPG set in a mystical world populated by monsters. In this game, you have to hunt and defeat these monsters in order to progress your character and the story. Rise is the latest installment in the Monster Hunter franchise and lets you in on a new map. This map is larger, has more foliage, and improved graphics. In addition to this, the game also boasts new and improved monsters as well as redesigns of some of the favorites from the previous monster hunter game. It is important to enjoy this game in your native tongue. Hence, the game has been made available in multiple languages across the platforms. In this article, we will be taking a look at Monster Hunter Rise: How to change language.

Monster Hunter Rise: How to change language?

Monster Hunter Rise is available in 13 languages with other regional dialects and languages being made available in text or through translation. If you belong to a region with a supported language, you can change to the regional language via the in-game settings. Alternatively, you can continue using it in the default language. If you do change it to a different language, you may not be able to change the voice acting language since Full Audio is supported for selective languages only.

Monster Hunter Rise: How to change language?

In an effort to be inclusive, the developers of Monster Hunter Rise have made the game available in multiple languages. It has a few base languages such as English and Japanese. It also has region-specific languages like Mandarin and Cantonese in China. Based on the region, you can also change the voice acting language. Voice acting is currently available in English, Japanese, and the in-game, Monster Hunter dialect.

Changing the language settings in this game is very simple. It is simply a matter of going to the in-game settings and toggling a select few options. Below, you will find the exact procedure to follow for the same.

In order to change your language in Monster Hunter Rise, follow the steps below;

  1. Head to the Options from the Main Menu.
  2. Here, select Language Options.
  3. Once selected, find the desired language and confirm.
  4. Your in-game language for the subtitles and translations will change.

With these simple steps, you can change the language of Monster Hunter Rise. Regional languages and languages unsupported by accompanying voice acting are limited to a change in subtitles and translations. This is because voices and other voice-specific prompts can only be changed to one of the supported languages.
