Rebuilding the console’s database could also prove effective enough in dealing with this particular error. If you haven’t tried this before, follow the instructions below carefully:
First and foremost, turn off the console.
Now, hold the power button until you hear a second beep from the PS5. You will hear the beep around the seven-second mark, so you won’t have to wait long.
Next, get your controller and connect it to the console via the USB cable. You now need to press the PlayStation button on the controller.
From the options presented to you, select Rebuild Database. Wait until the process is complete to launch the game.
You can even try doing multiple restarts of the game to see if it helps with getting rid of this error. Perform a restart of the console and find out whether the issue persists. Players can even try doing a power cycle if they want. What you will be doing is essentially turning off the console and then unplugging it from the socket. Wait a good few seconds, and then plug the console back in. Start the console and then the game.
Factory reset –
Just in case nothing else works for you, try factory resetting the console. Do note that this will delete all of your data, including games, so ensure that you have a speedy internet connection to download everything back. As for how to factory reset the PS5, all you really need to do is:
Head to the home screen of your PS5 and select Settings (cogwheel icon at the top).
Next, select System > System Software > Reset Options > Reset Your Console > Reset.
After the resetting process is complete, wait for the PS5 to start and redownload the necessary files and updates.
