Lies of P Humanity Level: How to Check & Increase?
As we already mentioned, a big part of the Lies of P gameplay is attributed to the transition of Pinocchio from a puppet to a human. In fact, if you’re successful in transforming Pinocchio into a human, you’d be able to reach the “Rise of P” ending, which is considered to be the “real ending” of the game. This is why players are currently focusing on this transition in Pinocchio.
How to check the humanity level in Lies of P?
In Lies of P, you won’t find a scale or a meter showing your character’s humanity level. However, there are two ways to know how much more human Pinocchio has become in the game.
- If you fight and defeat the Eldest of the Black Rabbit Brotherhood, you’ll get the collectible item, Portrait of a Boy. You’ll need to bring this portrait to Geppetto. He’ll then reveal that the boy in the portrait is his son, and he’ll hang the portrait in his office. The more you lie and become human in the game, the more the nose of the boy in the portrait will grow. This is one way you can find out how much of a human you’ve become. Come back to the portrait occasionally and check how much his nose has grown. That will tell you about your humanity level.
- The second way is to visit the Hotel Krat and interact with Spring, the orange cat. The cat will hiss at Pinocchio if he’s not human enough. However, when you’ve accumulated enough humanity points, Spring will let you pet normally.
How to increase humanity level in Lies of P?
The humanity level of your character in the game can be raised by a simple choice—the choice to lie. If you continue hiding the truth and lying your way out of tricky situations, your humanity level will rise. Otherwise, you can also listen to the gramophone in Hotel Krat to increase your humanity level. Furthermore, performing certain gestures towards certain NPCs also contributes to the humanity level. However, the lie system still remains the major source of increasing your character’s humanity in the game. Thus, you should lie whenever possible if you want to get near the game’s true ending.
