  1. Sign out and sign in again: There is a chance that you are not properly logged in to your PSN account which is causing this error. So, you must sign out and sign in again. For that, go to Settings > Account Management > Sign Out > Sign In. Enter your email id and password here to sign back in.
  2. Reset your password: If by any chance, you are not remembering your password, and are unable to sign in because of that, then you must reset it. To reset your password, you must press the appropriate key on the controller that says “Forgot your Password?”. From there you can reset your password.
  3. Activate 2 Step Verification: This PS4 error can also occur because you have not activated the 2-step Verification. To do that, go to Settings > Account Management > Account Information > Security > Two-Step Verification.
  4. Changing the DNS Settings: If none of the above-mentioned methods has helped you out, changing the DNS server settings can. To change DNS settings, go to Settings > Network > Set Up Internet Connection > WiFi/LAN Cable > Custom. Now, for IP Address Settings, select Automatic, for DHCP Host Name, select Do not Specify, and for DNS Settings, select Manual. Here, set your Primary DNS to 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8 and the Alternative DNS to 1.0.0.1 or 8.8.4.4. After that, select Next and select Automatic for MTU Settings, Do not Use for Proxy Server, and finally Test Internet Connection. By following this method, you will be able to get rid of the error.
