With Hogwarts Legacy just around the corner, folks have started to come up with all sorts of questions. macOS users are wondering if they will be able to enjoy this game. Well, the Mac operating system is not known for gaming. Although Apple has been tuning and tweaking its machine for this purpose, it is still far from being perfect. So, Mac users are always in confusion about whether a game would run on their systems or not. So, if you own an Apple machine and are wondering if Hogwarts Legacy will run on your system, then you have come to the right place.
Hogwarts Legacy is an open-world RPG that allows you to immerse yourself in the fantasy wizarding world. The majority of the players looking forward to the game’s release are Harry Potter fans. But, Hogwarts Legacy is a standalone title that is not directly connected to the Harry Potter universe. Players will be able to explore the magical school and its surrounding areas. They will also be able to attend magic lessons and perform a variety of spells. There are also several wand duels and broom racing competitions as well. But the question is, will macOS users be able to enjoy Hogwarts Legacy alongside other platforms?

Hogwarts Legacy macOS (Mac) Release Date: When is it coming out?
Unfortunately, it looks like Hogwarts Legacy will not roll out for macOS systems. The devs have not made any statement regarding this matter and have not mentioned any release date for the same. The official system requirement page of the game also does not include specs for macOS. To play the game on a PC, you will need the Windows operating system. While this is rather unfortunate, there are several reasons why the devs might have gone with this decision. Firstly, they will need to tweak the game a lot so that it could run on a macOS system.
Second, the devs are already dealing with a lot of bugs at the moment. They are preparing to launch the game for Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. This has stretched their workforce quite thin. So, it is possible that they might not want to add another operating system to their list. Also, Hogwarts Legacy will surely need a lot of system resources to run properly. While MacBooks are getting better each day, they are still far from being gaming machines. Well, we will update our article if the devs release some new information regarding this topic. Till then, stay tuned to Digi Statement, and happy gaming.
