Elden Ring is scattered with several collectible items with specific or diverse functions that can help you enhance your adventure or give you the upper hand when you are caught in a corner in the game. Some are obtained in specific locations while many others are awarded as you progress in the game or perform certain tasks successfully. The Haligtree for instance is a legacy dungeon in Elden Ring that can be accessed by using the hidden path to the Haligtree in the forbidden lands. Entry to the location can be achieved by unlocking the Grand lift of Rold by combining the left half of the Haligtree Secret Medallion and the right half of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.
These two halves when combined also unlock the Consecrated Snowfield and the Miquella Haligtree. To join the two halves of the Haligtree secret medallion, you simply need to go to your inventory and scroll till you get to the two halves. The first half can be found at Castle Sol, where you have to get to the highest peak to get one-half of the medallion. The second half of it is in the Village of Albinaurics. How to Get To Haligtree Using Secret Medallion
Now you have the two halves of the medallion in your possession, return to the Grand Lift of Rold. Press left or right on your D-pad to switch to the hidden pathway. We recommend using your lantern here as it is poorly lit. On getting to Grand Lift of Rold, an instruction to “hoist medallion” will appear but do not take any action yet. Instead, press right on the D-pad to switch actions and the instruction will change to “Hoist Secret Medallion”, which is different from the previous one. Now, press the Triangle button to switch to a different animation and location- the secret hidden pathway. Keep going forward and with time, you will reach the Site of Grace called the Hidden Path to the Haligtree.
