This is likely to resume the partnership between the two franchises in the near future. Stranger Things recently released the first part of its 4th Season on Netflix. With the release of Part 2 awaited, it makes sense that the series producers would want to collaborate with the developers to feature their characters in Dead by Daylight. The leak mentions that the star addition to the upcoming collaboration will be one of the main antagonists of Stranger Things this season, Vecna. This would be a wonderful opportunity for the developers to showcase their work and have new kill animations.
