Dead by Daylight Christmas 2022 update likely to include Vecna from Stranger Things

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer survival horror game. It is a very well-reviewed game and is still quite popular. This is largely thanks to their update schedule and collaborations with various other franchises. One of the most memorable franchise collaborations was between the developers of Dead by Daylight and the hit Netflix Show; Stranger Things. This was sadly removed from the game and replaced with other events. In this article, we will be taking a look at how the Dead by Daylight Christmas 2022 update is likely to include Vecna from Stranger Things.

This collaboration between the developers of Dead by Daylight and Stranger Things was very popular. Many fans loved the collaboration and wanted more to come of the relationship between the game and the Netflix Series. Removing the collaboration between the developers and Netflix angered the fans. They wanted more Stranger Things content in the game. This led to the creation of an online petition to reintroduce the Stranger Things series into the game in the future. This petition currently has over 35,000 signatures. Luckily, according to a recent leak, this may actually be happening.

In a recent turn of events, there has been a tweet from the Twitter account of @leaksbydaylight which teases a return of Stranger Things to the game. The leak further suggests that there could be a Stranger Things return later this year, likely in the Christmas update in late 2022. The leak suggests that the team behind Netflix’s Stranger Things has already contacted the developer, Behaviour Interactive. This is likely to resume the partnership between the two franchises in the near future. In addition to this, the leak has also mentioned the possibility of introducing new characters or skins to the game.

Stranger Things recently released the first part of its 4th Season on Netflix. With the release of Part 2 awaited, it makes sense that the series producers would want to collaborate with the developers to feature their characters in Dead by Daylight. The leak mentions that the star addition to the upcoming collaboration will be one of the main antagonists of Stranger Things this season, Vecna. This would be a wonderful opportunity for the developers to showcase their work and have new kill animations. Despite the leak revealing so much information, it is advisable to take it with a pinch of salt. Leaks, no matter how accurate are still leaks and not confirmed by the developers in any way.

We will update this article if official announcements are made regarding this. Till then, please consider visiting DigiStatement for more articles just like this.
