The game recently received its brand new expansion, Phantom Liberty, which was released on September 26, 2023. Moreover, patch 2.0 also went live with the recent expansion release. While the fans have indeed started enjoying the newly released content because of all the new features and content, the game isn’t flawless. Multiple players have come across several different types of errors and bugs in the game. One such error that PS5 players are facing in the game is the error code CE-108255-1. The simplest workaround that you can try to fix any error occurring in your PS5 is restarting it. So, turn your console off for a while, then boot it up again, and launch Cyberpunk 2077. Now, check whether the error code persists.

Update the game

If restarting your console didn’t work, then check and ensure that you’re running the latest version of the game. If there are pending updates, then download and install these updates. Run the game and check if the issue persists.

Update your system

  • Connect your DualSense controller to the PS5 using a USB cable, and then press the PS button.
  • From the Safe Boot menu, select the Clear Cache and Rebuild Database option, and hit OK.
  • Let the process complete, and wait until your PS5 restarts. Then, launch Cyberpunk 2077 and check if the error is fixed.

Reinstall the game
