STOP ANY ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE RUNNING
This is a common reason why Call of Duty Vanguard or any other game does not launch properly or crashes after launching. In 90% of the cases, the antivirus software you have in your system somehow recognises and marks the game files as false positive or malware does not let the game launch normally.

Follow the below steps to do this –
- Go to Windows search, type Virus and Threat Protection and then hit Enter.
- Now, go to the Ransomware protection and turn on the Controlled folder access.
- Click on Allow an app through Controlled folder access. Next, click on Add an Allowed app.
- Make sure to browse all apps and head over to the Call of Duty Vanguard installation folder where you’ve installed the game.
- Next, select the game folder and open it. Rename the Vanguard.exe file and click on Open.
- Next, do the same steps again for the Vanguard Launcher.exe file and click on Open.
- Finally, reboot your PC, and try running the game again to check for the issue.
