Have you accidentally deleted your Activision account? Or has your account been hacked? Are you looking to recover your account? But don’t worry as we got all the details for you. Read this article as we share the important steps to solve this problem for you

Recovering Activision Account

  • Head to Activision’s main page
  • From there, check the tab on the top
  • Here, you will see the option of Support.
  • Click on Support and choose Support Home.
  • On the top, you will see a quote tab in sky blue colour
  • This tab says, “NEED HELP INVESTIGATING UNAUTHORIZED ACTIVITY WITH YOUR ACTIVISION ACCOUNT?”
  • Click on the same

This will therefore take you to the Activision Account Recovery Request. Henceforth, you need to make a new Activision account with a new Activision ID to submit a request. This will serve as a temporary account. As you create this temporary account, make sure to link your platforms with the new account. This includes PlayStation, Xbox, Twitch, Twitter.

Connect your platforms with the Activision account by going to your account page. From there, you will afterwards see the Account Linking tab. In this section, henceforth, you get to link your accounts with platforms. Upon linking the account, you will be rerouted to the PlayStation, Xbox Live, Steam, Battle.net, or Nintendo website to complete the account linking process.

Step 2

Now you will get the option to provide all the details about your previous account. You get the option of mentioning your old account email address, the date your previous account was changed. After this, you also get the option of selecting the Call of Duty game titles. Upon your experience, choose between Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, CoD Modern Warfare, CoD Warzone or CoD mobile. Henceforth, share the new account email address, the new Activision ID, the PSN ID, and Xbox Gamertag (optional). In the end, tick mark the box which says “I accept Activision’s Terms of Use”, and click on submit.

Activision will register your details and start working on your previous account recovery. If you match the terms and conditions, the account will get recovered in around 10 days. Henceforth, for more guides on gaming, head here.
