Adopt Me Lunar Update 2023
As the Lunar Update in Adopt Me is set to release on January 19 at 9:30 p.m. GMT+5:30, we have got all the information you need. The official Twitter account of Adopt Me confirmed the upcoming contents in the new update including changes in the adoption island, new items, pet wear, a themed car, and lastly 7 new pets. The game is introducing a brand new currency where you’ll have to collect lanterns. You can collect it by playing a mini-game that refreshes every single day. You’ll have to explore the Adoption Island and gather lanterns and grab the golden lanterns before other players. You can spend these lanterns to purchase the Moonbear box which consists of different versions of the Moonbear pet. The cost of this box is 300 Lanterns. Anyways, in this update, we’ll be getting three different moon bears, rabbits with different variations, and a winged tiger pet.
Black Moonbear
It is the regular version of Moonbear that looks just like any ordinary bear with a moon mark on its chest. It has dark fur so it’s easy to tell. It is a rare pet.
Water Moonbear
Just as the name suggests, Water Moonbear is another bear that’s arriving in the Lunar Year update. It has a blue texture all over its body and a water droplet sign on its chest and has a different face shape compared to others. As per official data, this is an ultra-rare pet in the game.
Lunar Moonbear
Just from its shiny Violet body with stars embedded in its body, we can tell it is a signature pet of the Lunar Year update. This bear also has a moon on its chest with special effects on the inside. As you might have guessed already, the Lunar Moonbear is a legendary pet that will have astronomical value.
Amami Rabbit
Amami Rabbit also looks special with a beautiful jet-black body and eyes that radiates a special aura. When the lunar year update releases, you can get this pet. It is an uncommon pet in the game that can be purchased for a total of 250 Lanterns.
Moon Rabbit
Moon Rabbit is the opposite of the Amami rabbit and is completely different with a white body, black eyes & paws with the moon symbol on its forehead. When this update goes live, you can purchase it in-game for 375 Lanterns. It is a rare pet.
Water Rabbit
The final rabbit that will arrive in the Lunar Year update is a special Water Rabbit. It has a blue body with a water droplet symbol on its forehead. And, you can purchase this ultra-rare pet for a total of 475 Lanterns.
Winged Tiger
However, that’s not all. We will also get the premium Winged Tiger pet in the game which will be available to purchase via Robux. It will cost a total of 600 Robux to get this Legendary pet.
