Each of us has a mode of entertainment that helps us get past our dull and boring days for some its music and for some, movies. TV shows and series are a whole mood too that has been keenly followed. But above all, there are thousands of people who actively stream videos on YouTube. This is not a daily activity basis. Some users watch a YouTube video every hour. The quality of the content depends upon the creator whose videos you watch. But the YouTube application does play a huge part in user experience.

Though the app is run by tons of content creators, the application is channelized by Google’s YouTube. It seems like this day marks the drain of the application as YouTube completely disappoints users.

Explicit/ Pornographic Ads in YouTube App-

There are dozens of developers and testers behind the YouTube mobile application. Each of them contributes to the massive video-sharing platform the entire world shares. One most note that YouTube is free of cost. Not a single penny is needed to be paid to get access to the videos out there. Also, all that one needs to do is log in with a Gmail account, and YouTube is all yours. So, how does the app make money?

Before you play a YouTube video, you will surely see an advertisement for at least five seconds. Sometimes, you will be fortunate enough to “skip” through it. In contrast, users might sometimes have to wait through a short 10 to 30 seconds ad. Also, you might often ads being played in between the videos while you are halfway through. This might happen multiple times in a video. Ad-sense or ad revenue is the main source of income how the official YouTube app earns. This is where the issues begin. Redditors are raging as users are seeing explicit and inappropriate advertisements and its not a petty thing!

Explicit/ Pornographic Ads in YouTube App

Seems like many users have come across ads that have indirectly depicted explicit and pornographic content and netizens complain out of disgust. One of the users has gone open up on it and posted regarding the same. A lot of other users have agreed upon seeing similar advertisements. Above all, it is worse for a company as big as Google to have let down people this way. The official YouTube app is loaded with ads and if this continues, the company might lose one of its most important services.

How to avoid these advertisements?

The simplest of ways yet completely unfriendly is shifting to YouTube Premium. YouTube Premium will cost users a package. And in return, users can watch videos without any advertisements. Also, there is exclusive YouTube content that only Premium users can watch. But this is not the solution to the issue. Above all, nobody would suggest YouTube Premium as there are alternatives. One of the Redditors who commented in the post did wisely think of it.

Explicit/ Pornographic Ads in YouTube App

You can settle for alternatives like Vanced or NewPipe. Check the links below to download and install either of the alternatives. These app host the same YouTube videos, but without any ads or real cash payments.

But if you are looking for a solution within the official YouTube app, unfortunately, there is known. Recently, a feature through which users can block ads was completely removed. It is terrible how the most necessary feature is unavailable at the most necessary times. All that you can do is wait longer for Google to take action.

Rest assured, we post related content and updates every day, so stay tuned. Also, share this article with all the YouTube streamers and content creators to bring this under notice!
