Mi 9 MIUI 12 Beta EEA stable build rolling out now
The Mi 9 series devices were lucky enough to be some of the first few devices to bag the stable MIUI 12 update. Well, it was stable, at least according to Xiaomi, by then. The catch is that not all the Mi 9 series devices got the update. Xiaomi rolled out the update to many devices, including the Mi 9, Mi 9T, and Mi 9T Pro. However, these updates were the only for those running the global MIUI stable ROM. What about those running the MIUI EU ROMs?
All those Xiaomi devices running the EU version of MIUI did not receive the update back then. However, that is not the case anymore. Xiaomi is now rolling out the MIUI 12 Stable Beta for the Mi 9 in the European regions. This means all those devices running the EU version of MIUI are now getting the MIUI 12 Stable Beta update. Currently, Xiaomi is rolling out this update only for the Mi 9 and not the other devices from the Mi 9 series. Furthermore, the update is rolling out only in some European regions.
The MIUI 12 EEA Stable Beta for the Mi 9 comes with the firmware version 12.0.0.9.QFAEUXM. However, the sad part is only this is what we know so far about this update. Xiaomi didn’t even mention the changelog for this particular update. There are no other details about the update so far. Well, considering the fact that the Mi 9 is getting the EEA Stable Beta in these regions, it seems like other devices will also be getting the update quite soon. The update will also be gradually available in more regions.
So, you should have received the update by now is you are on the EU ROM in certain regions. If not, then you will soon be receiving the update anyways. It is pretty sure that other devices, including the Mi 9T and the 9T Pro, will also be getting the update soon. Xiaomi is also working to ensure that no bugs remain in the final stable MIUI 12 build when it starts rolling out to users.
