Brazil will receive an Alpha test of the Wild Rift, the mobile version of League of Legends, from June 5th to 27th. In addition to the country, the Philippines will also participate in this process. The game will be available to a select group of players only on the Android platform. Invitations will be sent just a few hours before the official server opens.
Some of those who pre-registered on Google Play will have access. The minimum requirements for Alpha will be slightly higher initially (only 64-bit processors with 8 cores and 1.5 GHz or more, with 3 GB or more of RAM and a resolution of 1280 x 720 or more), but planning for the launch is more modest.
Riot Games made it clear that this is an experience that aims to get feedback from players about what they thought of playing with the dual-stick, whether the process of obtaining champions, skins and other “meta-game” systems is fair and whether the ability service and infrastructure is satisfactory: in the words of the producers, the game has to “run smoothly and without latency”.
– Our goal is to make Wild Rift a fun and lasting game, so we make a point of building it alongside the whole community. As the launch approaches and even after it, we will need YOUR help to know what we are doing right, where we are going wrong and what we should focus on next – the company said in an official statement.
Initially, there will be 36 champions: Ahri, Master Yi, Lux, Annie, Garen, Fiora, Vi, Blitzcrank, Camille, Jhin, Ezreal, Janna, Soraka, Nami, Nasus, Braum, Miss Fortune, Graves, Jinx, Alistar, Olaf, Gragas, Jax, Malphite, Shyvana, Aurelion Sol, Orianna, Ashe, Fizz, Tryndamere, Twisted Fate, Vayne, Xin Zhao, Zed, Yasuo and Ziggs.
So keep a tight watch on streams on June 6 to get an experience of wild rift in action in the alpha test.
