We now remain only a few inches away from witnessing Android 11. Well, before that, we also have been seeing many OEM shipping updates to their devices. OEMs will have to deliver almost a major part of the pending Android 10 updates before thinking about Android 11 in the bear feature. While many of these brands are doing good so far about delivering Android 10 updates, some are somewhat struggling about the same. Although most of the devices these days run on Android 10 we still have a couple of devices that are on the waiting list. Chinese OEM Vivo has also been rolling out the Funtouch OS 20 based on Android 10 to its devices.
Due to some problems, earlier Vivo re-released the official update roadmap for Funtouch OS 10. The OEM said that the update will roll out in three phases. Well, as of now, the first phase is not yet completed. It should be hopefully done by the end of June. At least, according to Vivo, if everything goes well.
Android 10 for Vivo Y11?
Funtouch OS 10 is the latest iteration of Vivo’s custom OS. Vivo has been rolling out this latest OS to many of its devices lately. While many Vivo devices are currently running Android 10, many devices still remain on the waitlist. The Vivo Y11 is one of these devices. The Vivo Y11 came around last year around the month of October. The device comes with Android Pie out of the box with Funtouch OS 9.1 on top. It has not yet received any major OS upgrades as of now.
Almost every single smartphone that comes out receives at least two major OS updates. One OS upgrade os for sure. The Vivo Y11 still awaits its first major OS upgrade to Android 10. Vivo has still not shed any concrete details about the Android 10 update for the Vivo Y11. Android 10 will be the first major OS upgrade for the device. It should later also be an eligible device to bag the future Android 12 as well. The latest Funtouch OS 10 does bring a couple of really useful features other than all those cool Android 10 features. It also brings home a better user experience and beautiful looks.
