The Android app has now been fixed. The latest version (8.28.2) should no longer crash on launch –– you’re good to go ahead and update when it becomes available for you. Thanks for your patience.

Annd now the Twitter app wont work, hopefully that mess will be fixed soon- but for anyone trying to get in touch with me??? I'm likely going to stay on Mastodon mostly until this issue is fixed because it starts, opens & gives a "Twitter has stopped"notice in under 3seconds.

Well, after several reports about the crashing issues of the Twitter Android app. The official account of Twitter support addressed the issue, and according to the official statement, the issue id appearing in the latest version of the Android app only.
