When you find this drop in-game, you will first need to get rid of these thornvines in order to access the drops. When you take these thornvines out, you can get access to the drops. If you do not destroy them, they will damage you when you try to access the drop.
Tower of Fantasy: How to remove Thornvines?
Thornvines are very annoying in-game. They are the only things stopping you from accessing drops and other important resources in the game. When you explore the map, you will more than likely run into some of these vines. Luckily, the game has a method that is very simple and you can get rid of these in no time. Thornvines, no matter how tough they look, are very weak to a particular element. This element is fire.
Any weapon that deals any amount of fire damage is enough to set these thornvines on fire. They will light up like a tinderbox and will disappear pretty soon. After they are gone, you can loot the supply box in peace and take all the loot for yourself. It is not hard getting one of these fire weapons either. The game basically gives you a fire bow in one of the main missions. This means you can basically use this free weapon to get rid of these vines and take the drop for yourself.
You can also chuck the odd fire core into the vines and destroy them that way. This is more of a last resort, however, because they are not always around the drop and need to be found before you can pick them up. For this reason alone, we think the fire weapons are the better option of the two to get rid of these thorns on your side (pun intended).
