This section is divided into two categories. In the first category, we have mentioned some Windows settings to apply whereas, in the second category, some in-game settings are mentioned.

Windows Settings

  1. The first step is to turn on Game Mode and turn off Captures and Xbox Game Bar from Windows Settings. You can find all of these options in the Game Settings. [Type Game Settings in the Windows Search Bar]
  2. Now, it is also important to turn on Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in the graphics settings [Path: Type Graphics Settings in Windows Search Bar and Select it > Enable the mentioned option]
  3. You must also make sure that your Graphics Drivers are updated to the latest version. Head here for updating NVIDIA Graphics drivers and here for updating your AMD Graphics drivers.
  4. If you use a laptop for gaming, it is very important to set High-Performance mode in the Power Management Settings. If you are an Nvidia Graphics Card user, Open Nvidia Control Panel by searching it in Windows Search Bar and under 3D Settings, find the Power Management settings, and set it to “Prefer Maximum Performance”. Otherwise, type “Power and Sleep settings” in Windows Search Bar, select the Advanced Power Options. Here, find the High-performance mode and then select it.
