The next-generation game from Wonder People, Super people is currently under the CBT (Closed Beta Test) phase. This game is being loved by a lot of game testers but the ongoing CBT is about to end on December 26th, 2021. However, on the contrary, Super People also troubled players with some issues like Connection Errors, freezing, game not working issues, etc. in this phase. Another thing that is missing in the game and is demanded by Super People fans is the Proper Controller Support. If you are also facing problems regarding controller support and want to know everything about this topic, continue reading this article till the end.
In Super People, you take control of a Super Soldier and land on an Island. Each character in this game has a different set of skills that he/she can use to outplay the enemies. Just like any other Battle Royale, you have to be the last man/team standing to win the game. But unlike most of the Battle Royale games, this game offers much more to do in a game. You craft your equipment in the game and also collect points to charge up your ultimate skill (just like we have seen in Valorant). No doubt this game is being told as a mixture of PUBG and Valorant. Coming back to the main topic, here is everything you need to know about the controller support of Super People.
Super People Controller Support
The controller support works quite well when a game is released on console platforms as well. But, Wonder People have already announced that they do not have any plans of expanding this game to other platforms than PC. Therefore, it is only a PC exclusive title as of now. We have discussed this topic in detail, you can read that article from here.
Many people are also comparing this game with PUBG and for the same reason, the question of Controller Support gets bigger in Super People. But, the players need to understand that this game is very different from PUBG. Unlike PUBG, Super People is not controller friendly. Many activities like crafting, inventory, looting, and ability system are very diversified in Super People and using a controller to play the game will restrict you from playing this game properly and will also increase the margin of mistakes done by the players. At the end, the players’ experience is the only one thing that will get compromised. Maybe, after considering all these things only, the developers took the decision of not launching the console version of this game.
When can we expect the proper controller support?
It is very certain that the developers will not be prioritizing on launching the controller support for the game as of now. Currenty, the game is in its CBT and the main focus of the developers is to resolve as many issues as they can. Also, the benefit of adding the controller support is only when Wonder People is planning to launch the console version of Super People, which is definitely not the case here.
In a nutshell, there is a very less chance that we will be seeing a dedicated controller support update in the game.
