Starfield Power From Beyond Quest Bug Is there any fix yet

Power From Beyond is a side quest in Starfield that involves locating and acquiring special powers. In this quest, Vladimir, an NPC, will guide you to the location of an artifact temple on a planet, which varies with each playthrough. Once there, you’ll use your hand scanner to track distortions leading to the temple. Inside the temple, you’ll navigate through energy lights to acquire a unique power. This quest is repeatable on different planets, allowing you to collect multiple Starborn Powers.

But here lies the bug: for many players, once they fly to the planet where the quest is supposed to take place, there are no visible quest markers or objectives that they can follow, causing them to wander aimlessly for hours. Some also reported that they are missing a power even though they have completed the quest, but Vladimir mentions that the eye is still searching for more locations but does not share where to go next, preventing them from getting that power. Well, if you are dealing with the same bug, keep reading to know if a fix exists for it.

Starfield Power From Beyond Quest Bug: Is there any fix yet

Starfield Power From Beyond Quest Bug Is there any fix yet

Now, many affected players have shared that this issue arises because they have already visited specific star systems before receiving the quest related to the power. This, however, has not been confirmed and is still speculation. So, is there a fix yet? Well, as of writing this article, there is no official fix for this quest bug, as is the case with many other quests in the game. Without an official fix, players have found creative ways to deal with the issue. Now, these workarounds that we are about to mention, although they have worked for many, are not guaranteed fixes. Anyway, here’s what you need to do:

Set Course via the Starmap

First, open the in-game menu and access the Starmap. Secondly, plot a course to the planet where you are supposed to land. Doing so should refresh the quest marker for the “Power from Beyond” quest, making it appear as intended.

Search the marker manually

Since the bug occurs when you’ve visited the planet before receiving the quest, the quest marker might glitch out. To resolve this, manually search for the marker by navigating to the system where the quest is supposed to take place. This manual exploration might help you locate the quest marker.

Start a new game+ save

If you continue to encounter this bug, consider starting an NG+ save, and then try completing this quest. Many reported that doing so fixed the issue for them.

Reload a previously saved file

Another effective workaround for the “Power from Beyond” quest bug in Starfield is to reload a previous save. To implement this fix, players should load a saved game from a point prior to encountering the quest. This method essentially allows them to replay the quest section without the bug, ensuring that the quest marker for “Power from Beyond” functions correctly. It’s a straightforward solution that may work for you.

Finally, it’s important to note that these workarounds are not guaranteed fixes, and an official patch from the developers is still awaited to address quest-related bugs comprehensively. As we patiently await the first patch, stay tuned to DigiStatement for more updates and gaming news. Read more: Starfield Floating Companions/NPCs Bug: Is there any fix yet
