Starfield game locations list & release date for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One & PC

Starfield is one of the most anticipated games of 2021, and the fact that Bethesda Softworks is the creator makes it even more exciting for us. There have been a lot of speculations regarding the game, but we can just wait till the game releases to know everything.

The game is slated to release on 11 November 2021 for the platforms like Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. And yeah, you guessed it right. There is no release planned for the PlayStation console and Nintendo Switch. Not much is clear about how the game is going to turn out, but we do know about the three locations available in the game. Here is everything you need to know.

WHAT ARE THE GAME LOCATIONS IN STARFIELD?

On August 26, a Twitter user tweeted a series of videos from Bethesda Softworks’ YouTube channel that revealed some insights into three locations we will have in Starfield. The videos are quite short in length but reveal quite something about the three key locations, their names and backgrounds. Here is everything we know about the locations –

LOCATION 1 – NEON

Starfield Game Locations List

The location of Neon has been described as ‘the city of pleasure‘ and it is present on an unnamed water planet. The concept art shown in the video was also revealed during Starfield’s E3 presentation. It shows a giant city, brightly lit against a dark sky, anchored above a vast ocean. Below the platform, we can see a lot of spaceships and aquatic ships which somewhat look alike, and they range in size and quality.

The video reveals the fascinating history of Neon city and players are going to have some amazing challenges here. As seen in the video, the history goes on something like this – A corporation called Xenofresh came to the planet in hopes of developing a fishing settlement. However, when they discovered the fish had psychedelic properties, they decided to manufacture a drug called Aurora.

The video shows that this drug Aurora is legal in Neon only, and the city is beautiful enough to attract people from all over the galaxy.

LOCATION 2 –  NEW ATLANTIS

New Atlantis is the capital city of the United Colonies in Starfield. In the reveal video, we can see a spaceport within the city that looks like a thriving civilization. Then some buildings reach into the sky, spotlights that twirl through the air and the traffic can be seen all the way from the dock.

According to the video, the UC is the most powerful, largest and strongest political faction in the Starfield Universe, keeping the military power in mind. New Atlantis indeed is an amazing addition to the Starfield puzzle. This city is probably the most diverse in this universe, representing every race, creed and ethnicity.

LOCATION 3 – AKILA

Starfield Game Locations List

Akila is the capital city of the “Freestar Collective”, an alliance between three-star systems in Starfield. The video makes Akila seem more like an outpost and less like a traditional capital. The concept art shows two large, worn structures with caravan-like buildings surrounding them. According to some other leaks, Akila is surrounded by Oshta, a deadly alien species native to the planet. Bethesda describes them as “a cross between a wolf and a velociraptor”.

Akila does not have any specific role as of now in Starfield, or maybe we do not know about the role. But it will surely be a storehouse of some exciting adventures for the players!

This was everything you need to know about the three game locations in Starfield. Follow Digi Statement for more such details.
