Here is a brief guide on how to obtain Hardwood –
Hardwood is obtained by chopping down a Mahogany Tree with any axe. There are different axes for the player to use. You will need a large stump with a Copper Axe or better, a large log with a Steel Axe or better.
Once you are equipped with an axe, head over onto the Secret Woods.
The large stumps in the Secret Woods respawn six (6) times daily. This allows you to obtain at least twelve (12) of the valuable Hardwood per day. This is the best way to obtain a good amount of Hardwood every day. Learn more on Stardew Valley here.
