Sons of the Forest: How to get Water?
Now, there are a couple of ways to get or drink water in Son of the Forest. These methods are- directly drinking from the stream, eating berries, and using the flask. Below, we are going to elaborate on these topics further.
Using the Streams- The first, and the easiest method to get water in Sons of the Forest is through the streams. These freshwater sources are present in certain locations in the game. To find these streams, open the map and look for blue lines. They indicate flowing streams that have fresh water. However, do not drink Sea Water.
Through berries/flowers- If you are thirsty in Sons of the Forest but can not find a stream or other source of water, then you can try eating some berries(Blueberries, Blackberries, Salmonberries) or flowers(Yarrow). Though, their hydration rate is way slower than drinking from a freshwater source. But, this will still come in handy when you don’t have any other option.
Using a Flask- You can use a flask to store water in Sons of the Forest. Doing so will make sure that you have a source of water no matter where you are. You can find a flask at the beginning of the game. To find it, go to the site of the helicopter crash and reach the nearest marker on the map. Look at the image below for the exact location. Then, walk down the steps and go inside the tunnel. Here, you will find a 3d printer lying down among the wreckage. Use the laptop beside it to print a flask. Now, simply go to a river to fill up your flask.
