How to unlock Fleeting Fancy achievement in Sea of Thieves?
Just as the name of the achievement implies, you need to own a minimum of 15 ships or more to unlock it and you’ll require tons of gold to do that. If you’ve managed to save up enough, you can buy the first three ships Brigantine, Sloop, and Galleon, and each cost between 250K to 500K Gold. One thing that you should remember before you proceed with purchasing ships of the same type is that you’ll need to first obtain the Legendary Ship’s title on your ship of the same type. For example, if the first ship that you owned in the game is Brigantine, then you’ll need to unlock Legendary Ship’s title on it first before you buy another ship with the same type as Brigantine.
If you wish to earn the Legendary Ship title, this can take you quite some time and require a lot of grinding on your end. All you have to do is to get to Class 50 in Ship Milestone Alignment. For those who don’t know what Milestone is, it is a type of quest that require pirates to perform certain types of activities like sinking an enemy ship. All you have to do is complete milestones in particular alignments and if you reach Class 50 in one alignment, you’ll get the Legendary Ship title and will be able to buy ships of the same type.

There’s an exploit that was discovered by a player that allowed him to get the Fleeting Fancy Achievement and it may or may not work for you, but it’s worth a try. Just buy a sloop, log in and log out of the server 15 times and dismantle it each time you do. After doing this, you might get the Fleeting Fancy Achievement in the game.
