Samsung, the Korean smartphone maker, launched the new Galaxy M-series smartphones in India last year. With the new M-series, the OEM pit its smartphones against rivals like Xiaomi and Realme, who are already owning the smartphone market in India. Galaxy M40 is one of the devices in the new M-series, which comes with a long list of features with a decent price tag.
Talking about the features of Samsung Galaxy M40, the device comes with a 6.30-inch display with a high resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. M40 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor coupled with a RAM of 6GB capacity. The device features a triple rear camera setup which carries 32MP + 5MP + 8MP sensors.

Today, a Galaxy M40 user reported about a new update in the official Samsung India forum. The new update file with version M405FDDS2ASL2/ M405FODM2ASL2/ M405FDDS2ASL1 weighs 197.38 MB in size. The patch brings the latest December security patch to the device along with several bug fixes.
