Keep in mind that RuneScape Dragonwilds runs its online multiplayer through Epic Online Services, which means you’ll need to accept a few Epic-related prompts regarding linking your Epic Games account to the game when you launch it for the first time. But it doesn’t tie you to the Epic Games Store launcher, and you won’t need to install or run Epic separately. Anyway, here is how you can play the game with friends.
How to play with friends?
Playing with friends in RuneScape: Dragonwilds is super easy once you get the hang of it. Just hop into the main menu, hit that Play button, and choose Create World. From there, select Play With Friends to automatically set things up for co-op. Customize your world’s name and password if you want to keep things private, then click Create World and boom. Your party’s ready! Also, while setting up your world, you’ll also get the option to toggle features like Friendly Fire (PVP) on or off. To join, your friends just need to go to Play, switch to the Friends tab, find your server in the list, and jump in. If there’s a password, they’ll just need to enter it, and they’re in!
Playing with other random players
No friends online? No problem! RuneScape: Dragonwilds has you covered with its community server feature. You can either create your public world and open it up for random adventurers to join or hop into someone else’s. Just click Play on the main menu, head over to the Public tab, and browse the list of available servers. Look for ones that don’t have a little key icon next to them; those are open to everyone without a password. It’s a great way to meet fellow explorers and tackle the grind together!
