There are a couple of things that you can do to save ammo in Resident Evil 4 Remake. These are some simple tricks that will allow you to pass through dangerous areas without wasting much ammo.

1) Use stealth kills-

Did you know that you can use stealth to silently kill your enemies in Resident Evil 4 Remake? This is a very efficient way to dispatch enemies without making any noise and using any ammo. Just crouch and approach the enemy from behind. Once you are near enough, you will see the Stealth Knife kill icon. Press the right button to perform a silent stealth kill. But, make sure to not get seen if you want to perform a stealth kill.

2) Aim for the head-

It goes without saying that headshots are the best way to deal with enemies. So, you should practice your aim and hit the enemies on their heads to take them down quickly. This will ultimately save a lot of your ammo. Once you start playing the game, you will notice that enemies have several other weak spots as well.

3) Use your knife-

Leon carries a knife alongside his gun. You can use this knife for stealth kills as well as to parry attacks. This is a very important skill that will save a lot of your ammo. If you perfectly parry an enemy’s melee attack, then it will stagger them allowing you to dish out damage. 4) Use the environment-

Resident Evil 4 Remake allows you to utilize your environment to deal damage to the enemies. So, keep an eye out for traps and other natural hazards when you encounter enemies in the game. If you did not know, you can shoot lanterns in the villages. If done properly, it will spread flames and damage the enemies.

5) Use explosives-

Leon will get his hands on a few explosives throughout the gameplay. You can use this item to deal with groups of enemies at once. So, when you’re fighting a mob, try to group them up and drop a grenade. This will allow you to save a lot of ammo.

6) Run away-

Running away when things start getting out of hand is a perfectly sound strategy that you can use in Resident Evil 4 Remake. You don’t have to fight every enemy that comes your way. So, either use stealth to get past them or simply sprint to get out of their range.

So, these were some ways to save ammo in Resident Evil 4 Remake. Now, you should also thoroughly check the drawers and barrels whenever you come across them. Most of them have ammo that will help you out a lot. Also, don’t forget to loot the dead bodies for resources. Resident Evil 4 Remake also has a crafting system that allows you to create bullets for your weapon. So, this is also a good way to keep your stock full.
