Realme 5 Pro, Realme XT April Security Update with lots of Optimizations rolling out

Started as a sub-brand of Oppo, Realme has emerged as one of the fastest-growing smartphone brands across the globe. Within a short span of time, Realme has launched dozens of devices in every price segment. Now, the company is gearing up to launch a new Narzo 10 series.

Well, in terms of providing the updates, Realme has also done a great job. Most of the Realme phones have already got the latest Realme UI (Android 10) update, while others have been scheduled to get it. Check out the Realme UI update roadmap here.

Yesterday, the Realme 3, 3 Pro, and Realme 3i received the March security update, and now the Realme 5 and Realme XT March security updates are rolling out.Realme 5 pro MArch security update

The March update for both devices, along with the security improvements, also brings a number of optimizations and other bug fixes. The Changelog for both the Realme XT and Realme 5 Pro is the same, while the version number of the update is a bit different. You can check out the complete changelog below:

  • Version: RMX1971EX_11_C.02 – (For Realme 5 Pro)
  • Version: RMX1921EX_11_C.03 (For Realme XT)

● Android security patch: March, 2020

Fixed

● Optimized system power consumption

● Optimized the effect of game audio

● Fixed the probability error of boot animation display

● Fixed the low probabilistic stuck issue while using third-party applications

● Fixed low probability stuck issue due to the memory leak of system

● Fixed the probability issue that photos or screenshots are not displayed after upgrading

Note: The updates are rolled out in batches. So, if you haven’t received the update yet, you might get it anytime soon, depending upon your location.
