It’s 2020, and the gaming industry sits among others in the list of “biggest industries” in the world, with revenue of whopping $152.1 billion in the global market. And it’s not stopping at all, in 2018, the video games industry generated $135 billion in the market, whereas, in 2019, the revenue increased by a growth rate of 9.6%. Well, the high growth rate has attracted many new game-developer companies to jump in the field and serve the worldwide gamers.

Developers offer users to enjoy their gaming titles on different platforms, like consoles – PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. But among all, mobile-gaming has emerged out as the most popular platform for gaming. Mobile gaming had already taken over the console and PC gaming industry in 2018, and the reasons are pretty simple, it’s affordable and portable. Most of the games are free-to-play on mobile platforms, even it took millions of dollars in the development of the single title.

Well, game-developers and franchises are also bringing the mobile version of the popular game titles. In 2018, we saw the mobile version of PUBG, which was available for PC and consoles earlier, and later on, released for Android and iOS platforms and became the popular mobile game of the year. Tencent studios was not the only first one to follow the approach of releasing the mobile version of the popular existing game, but probably the first one to get the most popularity.

After PUBG Mobile, Epic Games studios released the mobile version of Fortnite, and October 2019, the mobile version of Call of Duty released globally by Tencent Games. Call of Duty: Mobile, a free-to-play first-person shooter, became the fan-favorite in no time.

We discovered a new mobile game called Area F2, developed by Qookka Games which is a China-based game developer. Area F2 is getting attention as the game is almost identical to the popular online tactical shooter game – Rainbow Six Siege.

The game features the same 5v5 Close-Quarters Battle shooting format topped up with realistic graphics with a destructible environment. Area F2 also features 20 agents with exclusive gadgets; each agent has its unique gadget, resulting in a wide range of tactical combinations and interactions.

Well, the game is still in the development stage and the early access is now available on Android and iOS app stores. If you craving for the mobile version of Rainbow Six, you must try Area F2 once.
