Tencent Studios developed the mobile version of the popular battle royale game. Currently, PUBG Mobile is one of the most popular mobile game with millions of active users.
Recently, a lot of players are reporting about a notification that appears when they try to play PUBG Mobile. The notification mentions that all the Tencent gaming titles will be temporarily suspended and will not be available to play for a day. The temporary suspension of the servers starts at 12:00 AM, April 4 till 12:00 AM April 5.

So, what’s happening? Why is Tencent shutting down servers for a day?
Well, Tencent Games has posted the reason for doing this on the official Weibo handle. According to the official statement, this decision, to suspend all its services for one day, has been taken to honor and offer condolences to those who have martyred in the fight against novel Coronavirus pandemic.

“To express deep condolences to the martyrs and compatriots who died in the fight against New Crown Pneumonia, Tencent Games will be suspended for one day from 0:00 on April 4 thin, including mainland China and Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions. May the dead rest in peace, may the living work hard, and may the motherland flourish.”
