Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (SV): How to Find, Get & Catch Axew

With the release of Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, everybody has been busy updating their Pokedex. The new release comes with new areas and new pokemon like Quaxly, Pawmi, Lechonk, etc., which simultaneously has left the gamers on a quest to find them all. Being the hassle to find, train and evolve all the pokemon in the game, we are here to provide you the help needed to find Axew. That’s right! So without any further ado, let us find out where can you find Axew in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

PSV being a large open-world game and having a vast map area, locating Axew can be slightly hard. Being a dragon-type pokemon, you can use them against ice, dragon, or fairy types. This pokemon evolves twice and it is a strong pokemon that can be added to your Pokedex. You can also level up Axew to Fraxure at level 38 and further evolve it into Haxorus. Well, with all that being said, you must be wondering how to track these pokemon and where to catch them. Keep on reading to find out more!

Pokemon Scarlet & Violet (SV): How to Find, Get & Catch Axew

As you know the map in PSV is large, we are here to help you narrow down locations where Axew spawns. This pokemon can be found near mountains and rivers. While moving through the South Province (Area Five) in the early game, you can encounter Axew. You should then further travel north to Glaseado Mountain and North Province (Area One). Here, you will be able to spot more Axew spawns. Axew has also been spotted around in some others areas of South Province, so you must keep your eyes open. Do not miss out on spotting them while traversing the region as they are very small.

Axew can be found in various levels between level 16 and level 48. Well, don’t worry if you catch a low-level Axew, as you can level them up. You can use Experience Candies, or even Rare Candies in the game to increase your Axew’s levels fast. Once it reaches a certain level, it will be evolved into its next form. Hopefully, we have cleared all your questions. Well, see you soon with more guides like this on Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. We wish you good luck in capturing Axew with the help of this tutorial.
