There are a lot of Pokemon fan games out there and Pokemon Infinite Fusion is one such game. In fact, it’s one of the best fan games right now. Available for PC, Mac, and Android, players have been enjoying this unique take on the Pokemon formula where you get to experiment and fuse Pokemon. However, there are some issues with the game right now. And a major one just so happens to be error 35.
This particular error mainly appears to be affecting mobile players. It occurs when launching the game, resulting in players being unable to play PIF. Now, the cause here could be anything ranging from saved files to plugins. So, can this issue be fixed? Well, let’s go ahead and find out!
Pokemon Infinite Fusion error 35: How to fix it?
Here are some workarounds that will be useful in resolving this issue. Try these and see if any of them are of help.
Use an external extractor –
Some players found using an external extractor instead of the native one to extract the game files helpful. If you are on mobile, use something like Zarchiver or any of the myriad of mobile extractors available. And for those who happen to be on PC, use 7zip or WinRAR. A faulty installation involving missing game files can result in this issue, so using a trusted file extractor is the key.
Use legacy version –
Using a legacy version of Pokemon Infinite Fusion also seems to be of help for some players. Basically, you need to head to the official website where PIF is available and then scroll down until you find Legacy versions right under the Latest Version section. Download the 4.9.2 version and install it.
Delete save files –
You can also try deleting the game’s save file and see if that helps. PC players can find their save files in C:/Users/[YourUsername]/AppData/Roaming/InfiniteFusion directory. Mobile players can find their save file where they have unzipped the game. Once you’ve found your saved files, delete each incorrectly saved one. Also, leave Save File A as it is. After that, launch PIF and see if the issue continues.
Download Joiplay and RPGMaker from Patreon –
This particular fix is specifically for mobile users. For this one, what you need to do is head to this Patreon, and download both the JoiPlay and RPGMaker plugins. Once the download is complete, install both and grant whatever permission is needed. After that, add Pokemon Infinite Fusion to Joiplay, long-tap on the PIF icon, and select Edit > Type. Choose RPG Maker (mkxp-z), click Save, and launch the game.
Reinstall –
If the issue continues to persist, we suggest that you reinstall the game on your device. Simply uninstall it first and then redownload the game. After the download is complete, install PIF and launch it to see if you still encounter error 35.
