Pokemon Go: Delay between throws issue/bug got fixed in the latest update

Niantic’s widely popular game, Pokemon Go has currently entered an exciting phase with the announcement of Pokemon Go Fest 2020. But, Niantic has decided to take care of some issues and bugs to improve the trainers’ gameplay experience before the Pokemon Go Fest begins.

Recently, the developers of Pokemon Go released a list of issues being investigated by their engineering team. Many trainers were reporting issue related to the delays after missed or knocked away Pokeball.

Delay between throws issue

The trainers reported that when a Poke Ball thrown at a Pokemon during an encounter was missed or knocked away, there was a delay of a few seconds before the next Poke Ball was available to throw.

The developing committee has finally addressed this issue and revealed that the issue has been fixed in the latest 0.181.1 update. This latest update is currently rolling out in batches.

With only a short amount of time left for the commencement of the Pokemon Go Fest, trainers were getting anxious about this issue. So, it is a moment of relief for all the trainers experiencing this issue.

Other Fixes

In addition to resolving this issue, this new update also includes several other bug fixes and gameplay related issues, which are listed down below:

  • Softlock after tapping on Pokemon that can no longer be encountered on the map.
  • Timed research section sometimes disappears after tasks are completed.
  • Invited friends who rejoin a Raid battle are requested to use another Raid Pass.
  • After completing a Raid Battle, through a friend invitation, the invitation may remain in the “Nearby” menu.
  • Avatars don’t show up properly in raid lobbies.
  • After using a berry in an encounter, the Pokemon Go app becomes unresponsive.
  • Go Battle League and Trainer related issues.
  • Buddy Adventure related issues.
