In August this year, Xiaomi started rolling out MIUI 12 to Mi 10 devices and gradually moved to MIUI 12 to other devices. MIUI 12 focused on visual enhancements and privacy upgrades. It has smoother animations, modernized visual elements, and a UI that feels more coherent overall. But, this article is not about the greatness of MIUI 12. In this article, we will talk about a problem which, Poco F1 users are facing after updating to MIUI 12

Several Poco F1 users have raised the issue of fast battery drain on Twitter after updating to MIUI 12. Poco F1 was released in August 2018. This device ran on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and in September this year, Xiaomi started rolling out MIUI 12 for Poco F1.

A Twitter user avnish singh, added a tweet in which he said that he is facing a slow charging issue along with a battery drain issue. He also requested Poco not to roll out any unstable update.

As of now, Poco hasn’t made any official statements regarding this issue. Hence currently, there is no permanent fix available for this issue. But, if you are also facing this issue, I would recommend you to try factory resetting your device to see if that fixes this issue. Please keep in mind to backup your data before resetting your device to prevent data loss.

Poco F1 comes with a 6.18″ IPS LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Poco F1 also known as Pocophone F1 is powered by Snapdragon 845 and comes with different RAM and storage options. This phone comes with a dual-camera setup which includes a 12MP primary camera and a 5MP depth-sensing camera at the back. At the front, Poco’s F1 brings a 20MP selfie camera.

We are continuously tracking reports related to this issue  & will update you with more information whenever it arrives, so stay tuned! Follow our website to get technology updates as soon as we publish them.
