PlateUp: How to make cake

PlateUp How to make cake

Before we move on to the process of baking a cake, you will have to understand that in PlateUp, a unique customer ordering system applies to cakes, setting them apart from other dishes. Customers don’t specify a particular cake type but instead, request a specific flavor. For instance, if a customer orders a chocolate cake, they will happily accept various chocolate-flavored items, including Chocolate Doughnuts, Chocolate Cookies, Chocolate Cupcakes, Chocolate Sponge Cakes, or Brownies. Each cake type, except Brownies, can be infused with one of three flavors: Chocolate, Coffee, or Lemon. With this vital disclaimer out of the way, here is how you can bake a cake in the game.

How to bake a cake?

To bake a cake in PlateUp!”, follow these steps:

  • Ingredients: Begin by placing a cracked egg, sugar, and flour into the mixing bowl.
  • Mixing: Once the ingredients are in the mixing bowl, transfer them to a counter. Mix the ingredients either manually or with the assistance of a mixer.
  • Flavoring: The flavor of the cake depends on the customer’s order, and there are three options: Chocolate, Coffee, and Lemon.
    • For Chocolate: Cook/melt chocolate separately, and then add it to the mixing bowl.
    • For Lemon: Cut a lemon and incorporate it into the mix.
    • For Coffee: Brew coffee and add it to the mixture.
  • Baking: After the batter is prepared, place it on the white tray (cookie tray) and proceed to bake the cake.
  • Serving: Once the cake is baked, you’ll need to serve it to customers. Remove individual cake slices from the tray and serve them to customers.

Tips and requirements

Make sure you have the appropriate card to unlock the cake recipe. Without the menu card for cake, you won’t have the necessary tools, like the cake pan, to bake a cake. Different pans are associated with various baked goods. Make sure you have the right pan for the type of cake you’re making. If you don’t have these tools, you should also check if the cake is on the menu. If it’s not, customers won’t order it, and you won’t have the necessary tools to make it.

We hope that you were able to serve your customers the cakes they desire with the help of this guide. If you still have more queries regarding the baking process or cakes and desserts in general, you can refer to this wiki for a deep dive into the mechanics of the game.
