Path of Exile has been out for almost a decade now. The game originally came out on the 23rd of October 2013. In the past decade, this beloved RPG has received numerous DLCs and updates. You will rarely experience any dull moments in this game, and with its huge fan following that can be compared to that of a cult, Path of Exile doesn’t leave a lot to desire, and that’s not even the best part. But nothing is perfect. Despite being out for over a decade, the game still suffers from several bugs and issues. Most recently, fans have been running into a very annoying error that doesn’t let the game launch at all. This has caused a lot of annoyance within the community and the fans have been asking for answers. So today we are taking matters into our own hands. Path of Exile not launching in 2022: Fixes & Workarounds
Well, this shouldn’t come as a shock, but if you are trying to run PoE on a system that doesn’t meet the minimum system requirements for it, then your game is bound to crash. So, go to PoE’s Steam page and scroll down to the system requirements. Check whether your system meets the minimum requirements or not. If your system is fit to run PoE, move on to the next method.
Verify Game Files
This issue can also occur due to faulty game files. So, to remedy this we’re gonna verify and rebuild our game files. Here’s how:
Go to your Steam library
Look for Path Of Exile
Right-click on PoE and go to Properties
Navigate to Local Game Files
Click on the Verify game files option

Updating Graphics Drivers
Outdated graphic drivers can often cause a lot of trouble when you try to play games. So, we’re gonna help you update yours. To do so, go to your hardware manufacturer’s official website and check for your GPU’s driver updates. Download and apply any available updates. Restart your system and launch PoE. Run PoE as admin
Running PoE with admin privileges can more often than not fix any issues that might be affecting your experience. So, just find the PoE executable, right-click on it, Go to Properties and turn on the Run as Administrator option. Your issue should now be fixed.
