Party Animals: How to emote

It’s time to party, because there’s a new party game in town. Simply titled Party Animals, the game saw its official release on September 20, 2023, and is now available for download on PC and Xbox consoles. It is the newest addition to the string of physics-based party titles like Human: Fall Flat, Gang Beasts, and Fall Guys, just to name a few. It’s a game for having silly little fun and has even gotten a respectable number of positive reviews. Well, that’s kind of a given when in-game characters like Nemo, Underbite, Tiagra, Otta, and more are present. Now, as always, with fresh releases like this, there’s always a plethora of questions from curious players. So, players who want to learn more about how to emote in Party Animals, here’s everything you need to know.

Using emotes is helpful for certain players who are mic-shy. Or when the game doesn’t have a voice or text chat, emotes are the next best thing. Don’t worry, though! This multiplayer game has both these featuers. This is just to say that emotes are a lot more helpful than they seem to be at first. So, how do you use them in Party Animals? Let’s find out!

Party Animals: How to emote

First, let’s clear up some things related to emotes in the game. The ones that this game features are the typical image-based emotes. So, if you were expecting one of those dancing emotes, where selecting an emote would make your character perform it, then it’s better to throw away that thought. Now that everything’s clear, let’s proceed to using the emotes in-game.

Just like other games, Party Animals also comes with an emote wheel. There are eight spaces in this emote wheel, and all are customizable. Now, to use emotes, you need to bring up the emote wheel first. This can be done by pressing T and using the mouse to select the emote of your choice. Console players can do the same by hitting the Up Arrow on the D-pad and then using the analog stick to select an emote.

Customize Emotes

Those who want to customize the emote wheel can go to the main lobby and click on their avatar. This will bring up the Profile menu. Now, select Emotes from the new window and customize the emote wheel as much as you like. As for getting more emotes, just play the game and keep leveling up. Here’s a quick peek at your emote rewards for gaining new levels in Party Animals:

LEVEL EMOTES
9 Watching Emote
16 Sigh Emote
28 Cry Emote
40 Confusion Emote
51 Puke Emote
77 Cool Emote
96 Gold Poop Emote

There are other exciting rewards too, but that’s a topic for another time. Well, for now, that’s all we have on how to emote in Recreate Games’ Party Animals. If you want to know about server locations, here’s some information on the same. And for more such interesting guides, keep checking out DigiStatement.
