Singularity 6 Corporation’s Palia is gearing up for its first major event called Maji Market. Slated to start on August 29, 2023, until September 26, 2023, it’s an entire month of fun and love. However, for some players, the fun has been on the back burner due to the myriad of issues in Palia like the sound not working issue and error code 400. And now, the Strong Foundation quest bug is making it hard for players to advance in the game.
Completing the Strong Foundation quest allows players to move one step closer to becoming citizens of Kilima Village. But this bug is a roadblock to that. The issue seems to be with the cash register, which is one of the many tasks you need to complete in order to progress in the Strong Foundation quest. So, due to this bug, the cash register, which is beside Kenyatta, isn’t interactable, leading to players being stuck in this phase. So, is there any fix for this bug? Let’s find out!
Palia Strong Foundation Quest Bug: Is there any fix yet
Currently, the community is waiting for an official fix for this bug. So until a fix is released, you can try out the following workarounds and hope any one of them proves useful.
Talk to Kenyatta when she’s standing near the cash register –
If you are unable to interact with the cash register at City Hall during the Strong Foundation quest, then we suggest you wait until Kenyatta is near that register during her work hours. When that happens, interact with her, and then check if the issue persists.
Place your Harvest House in a different plot –
A very effective workaround to deal with this issue is to move the Harvest House to an entirely different plot. After doing exactly that, there’s a high chance that you will be able to interact with the cash register. This can be done by pressing the H button, picking up the Harvest House from your main plot, and moving it to a new plot.
Restart the game –
Restarting has been known to fix most issues in the game, and as such, you can’t just ignore this. Perform a restart of the game and see if you still encounter this issue. If yes, then move on to the next method.
Reinstall Palia –
When nothing else works, reinstalling is the best option. However, know that even a redownload might not be able to completely eliminate this issue. But there’s no harm in trying it out. So, delete or uninstall Palia from your PC and then open the Palia Launcher to re-download the entire game. Don’t worry about losing your progress.
Contact Support –
In case none of the aforementioned workarounds solve this issue, then it is high time that you contact support. Raise a ticket and explain the issue thoroughly. However, one of the main problems with this workaround is that the entire process can be very slow. Still, it’s at least better than nothing.
