The Chinese Smartphone maker Oppo launched the Oppo A9 (2020) and Oppo A5 (2020) last year. Both the smartphone offers maximum specs to price ratio. Initially, Both the smartphones were launched with Android 9 Pie, after that they have got a few bug fixes and security updates, but hasn’t received any major OS update. Well, we have some good news for you guys. The latest ColorOS 7 Update based on Android 10 for both the phones will be hitting the devices in May. We know its more than two months since the devices will actually get the updates, but that’s officially revealed by OPPO.
As per the official tweet from Oppo customer support, Oppo A5 (2020) and Oppo A9 (2020) will receive the Android 10 update based on ColorOS 7 (trial version) in the month of May. Check out the official update roadmap tweet below.
One bad news for you guys is that both the phones will get the trial version of ColoOppo A9 (2020) & Oppo A5 (2020) ColorOs 7 [Android 10] update to arrive in MayrOS 7 (Android 10) in May. The trial version means the update will be limited to a few thousands of users. The update will be tested for some more weeks or even months and then users will finally be able to get the stable version of ColorOS.
